Use of AI in North Korea: 

Strategic Perspectives on AI's Potential Role

Seunghee Ha, a research professor at Dongguk University, asserts that despite North Korea's efforts to develop AI to a level that could replace human intelligence, its human-centered ideology prevents it from being utilized beyond an auxiliary tool. While pointing out that South Korea is currently the only country in the international community blocking the inflow of information from North Korea, she suggests overcoming the problem of insufficient data for machine learning, analyzing trends in North Korea's AI technology development, and proactively responding to changes brought about by the use of AI.
